The part we will not dress up

It costs a fraction of ours and it has thousands of ratings. Its title makes people laugh, which can help a hard conversation start. If a short, general planner covers what you need, it is a good buy.

Where we differ: The Estate Organiser is written for Australia, so super, Centrelink and probate are in it, in the order your executor deals with them. It comes as a printed book, a fillable file, or both. Read the free Executor Toolkit first and decide which suits your family.

“I appreciate that it is all Australian-based. … After researching tools like yours, when I saw your product, I knew I'd found what I was looking for.”Carmel, Brisbane QLD, 65

Online planners can close. On 16 October 2026 we checked two that families used for this kind of record. The Cake address, joincake.com, now redirects to Altogether, a network of funeral homes. Lantern's site tells members it was acquired by Wellthy and that their accounts would no longer be available from 2 September. The Estate Organiser is a printed book or a file on your own computer, so what you write down stays with you.
