The Estate Organiser

Leave It Sorted and The Estate Organiser, side by side

If you are choosing between the two, here is the straight comparison, taken from what each of us publishes. We make one of them, so read it with that in mind and check both sites yourself.

Correct as at 16 October 2026. Prices and inclusions change, so check theirs before you decide.

Leave It Sorted This is usThe Estate Organiser
What it is A kit you download. It includes a 26-document checklist, a password and digital life vault, and an ‘In Case Something Happens’ letter template. A fill-in book for your accounts, wishes and instructions, set out in the order your executor meets them: the first 48 hours, the first month, the first year.
What arrives A download. Their buy button reads ‘Download the kit now’. A bound book, printed to order and posted to you. Or the digital edition on its own. Or the two together.
How it is sold Through a long article styled as a ‘Special Report, Australian Edition’. Through plain product pages, written by Will, who made it. His story is on the About page.
Price $78.00. Their page also says ‘the launch price ends this week’.
  • Free Executor Toolkit
  • $27 Estate Conversation Kit
  • $39 Executor's Companion
  • $79 The Estate Organiser, digital
  • $149 Printed and digital together

These are our prices. We do not run sales, codes or launch prices.

Free before you pay No free guide was offered on the pages we read. The one form we found was a contact form. The Executor Toolkit, free. It is the first stage of the book, written out in full.
Reviews 4.8 out of 5 from 3,240 customers, as shown on their own page. 4.9 out of 5 from nine reviews on ProductReview, plus the readers who wrote to us.

Where they are ahead, and where we differ

Their kit costs less than our printed book, it lists lifetime free updates, and their page shows far more reviews than we have. Those are fair reasons to choose it.

Where we differ: you can hold ours. The printed edition is a bound book posted free in Australia, with the digital file alongside it. Our prices do not change week to week. And you can read the first stage free, in the Executor Toolkit, before you pay either of us anything.

Online planners can close. On 16 October 2026 we checked two that families used for this kind of record. The Cake address, joincake.com, now redirects to Altogether, a network of funeral homes. Lantern's site tells members it was acquired by Wellthy and that their accounts would no longer be available from 2 September. The Estate Organiser is a printed book or a file on your own computer, so what you write down stays with you.

Checked at joincake.com and lantern.co on 16 October 2026.
